The hardest part of any campaign is asking for money. But it’s a critical reality. That’s especially true in this race, with only 7 weeks until Election Day on June 4th. This Saturday, April 20th, is our first campaign finance report deadline.

Please visit my website and make a contribution todayEvery dollar you give will go directly toward reaching out to voters with our message of transparency, integrity, accountability and effectively getting services to the residents of District 2.

Now to one of the funnest parts of our campaign… talking directly with voters. This Saturday, we’ll be gathering for another rally and precinct walk at our campaign headquarters featuring dozens of our endorsers, volunteers, family, and friends. I hope you will join us. You can click here to download a flier.

We can use your help each and every day between now and June 4th, so email my team at Volunteer@TeresaAlvarado.com and sign up for as many shifts as you can!

Finally, I wanted to pass along two very nice letters to the Mercury News from supporters of my candidacy. My thanks to Frank Fiscalini, former San José Vice Mayor and East Side Union High School District Superintendent, and Kerri Hamilton of Citizens for Environmental and Economic Justice.

If you want to join the more than 120 community leaders and elected officials who have endorsed our campaign, please send me an email.

As always, I’m grateful for their support, and for yours.

Regards,

Teresa sig

P.S. Last weekend, San José Vice Mayor Madison Nguyen hosted an event in support of our campaign. I wanted to leave you with this great pic from the event…
