It’s been an exciting week for our campaign, and it’s not over yet! I’m honored to announce that I’ve received the endorsement of San José Mayor Chuck Reed. Mayor Reed has dedicated himself to finding solutions to local government’s financial woes by modeling fiscal responsibility and championing economic development in San José.
I’m proud to add Mayor Reed’s name to my growing list of diverse supporters representing the range of constituencies in District 2. I look forward to working with all of you to make sure our county works for the people and that every tax dollar goes toward keeping our streets safe, our children healthy, and our economy growing.
I was also proud to stand with thousands of our friends and neighbors in the annual May Day March on San José City Hall, to call for comprehensive and compassionate reform for our broken immigration system.
We’ve reached a critical juncture in this short campaign. Voters are beginning to receive their sample ballots, and mail-in ballots will arrive next week, so we need all hands on deck for this weekend’s outreach. Please sign up to walk a precinct or make calls to voters by emailing Volunteer@TeresaAlvarado.com or calling us at (408) 564-6818.
Thanks in advance for any help you can provide!
P.S. There are two more candidate forums coming up next week. Please check this schedule and attend a forum to ask the candidates about the issues that matter most to you.
