TA at NLCLast night, I was excited to join the Silicon Valley chapter of the New Leaders Council for their third annual fundraising event at Mexican Heritage Plaza. NLC provides leadership training for the next generation of social and political entrepreneurs in our region and across the country. Here’s a link to their website, where you can learn more about this year’s crop of fellows.

It really fired me up to meet these emerging leaders who are committed to improving the quality of life in our county. And it made me even more determined to fight for a better future for all of our youth.

With that in mind, we have 13 days to make our case to the thousands of District 2 voters who have yet to return their mail-in ballots and the thousands more who will go to the polls on June 4th. I’m talking to voters every day, and I can tell you that our message of reform and accountability is resonating in the community.

But I won’t be able to knock on every door or call every voter in the district. That’s why I need your help. Please take a minute to visit my website and make a contribution today. Every dollar you give — up to the $500 individual limit — will go toward reaching voters with our message.

If you’d like to make a more direct impact, please send an email to Volunteer@TeresaAlvarado.com or call (408) 673-8371 to sign up for a couple hours of precinct walking or phone banking.

Together, we will win this election and lead our community into a bold future.

Thank you as always for your support.
