If you are a likely voter in District 2, you have been inundated over the past few months with mailers, phone calls, lawn signs, and advertisements. While my opponents are spending hundreds of thousands of dollars to misrepresent me, my record, my party affiliation, even my family’s history of service to the community, I have also been blessed with broad-based and enthusiastic support. For that, I am truly grateful.

As you know, there are many important issues facing the County and the people of District 2, and I wanted to take this opportunity to let you know that we have posted four position papers on our website that speak to my priorities if elected on July 30th:

All of these can be found at www.TeresaAlvarado.com/Issues. We will be posting more in the coming weeks and welcome your input and feedback.

Meet & Greets

Over the next 19 days, we have a full slate of meet-and-greets scheduled across District 2. This is a wonderful way to connect with voters and hear about their concerns for our community. Here’s a pic from an event on Tuesday night…

TA Shelton meet and greet

With the final fundraising deadline of the campaign coming up this Saturday at midnight, I hope you will make a contribution right now. Even if you gave in the primary, please give again now toward the runoff election. We need to have the resources to counter the misinformation voters are receiving and make sure that our supporters get out and vote.

Thank you as always for your friendship and support. You have truly been my inspiration in this race.
